Wearing white T-shirts and colored flags attached in their Motorized Tricycles, the drivers are now showing courtesy to their clients. Saying Good Morning, Ma’am, Sir and Thank you! Is a part of the campaign of the transport group of the city in consonant to the campaign of the Committee on Transportation and the local MTFRB under the Chairmanship of Hon. Arnold R. Gavenia to give the driver the importance of being part of the city economic boom?

They are neglected in a way that with me as the chair of my committee - this move is just to say, hey we’re here and we can help

says Hon. Arnold R.Gavenia.

Pagadian Tricycle is Unique in the Transportation World

The Motorized Tricycle of Pagadian is rare in the transportation world.  Its is unique in its form and appearance and they can be one of our tourists attraction. As the city government campaign also spouses the anti-smoke belching law, real franchising and identification for public safety. This mode of transportation has been controversial for the past years.

Problems arise with drivers not wearing protective gear or proper attire. They have been the concern of the local legislators and the executive department as well as the general public. The issues involve courtesy, overpricing of fare and violating city ordinances on road safety.

But with the project “Angat Pagadian” of City Councilor Hon. Arnold Gavenia, this can now be solved, and part of this is to show courtesy. The hosting of the 13th Asia-Pacific Youth Conference, our participation in the transport group will become the show window of the city; behave drivers, clean and courteous”. He added.{sidebar id=9}
