MECSPOL or Media for Clean and Safe Power Lines was initiated by the Transmission Corporation of the former National Power Corporation late in the 2000. Due to some constraints, MECSPOL became inactive since then because of some problems within the group.

MECSPOL Pagadian City were composed of media practetioners in the locality, led by its elected president SM Dante Tual of  BBC-DxBZ Radio. But because of unavoidable circumstances, MECSPOL was inactive but by last June 14, thru the initiative again of TRANSCO, especially Ms. Beth Martinez, Media Relations Officer of TRANSCO Region 9. MECSPOL stands now as re-activated.

Pagadian MECSPOL Elects New Officers
