MILF Forces somewhere in Lanao

Not the First Time 

This is not the first time that such special arrangement happened between the MILF and AFP. In July-August in 2005, the MILF had also vacated its two camps, Badre and Omar Ibni-Khattab, in Guindolongan and Talayan, both in Maguindanao, to allow AFP troops to conduct operations against ASG and suspected Jemaah Islamiyah militants holed up in the mountain ranges of said two towns.

The high-risk arrangement was facilitated and supervised by the International Monitoring Team (IMT) and aided actively by the MILF and government Coordinating Committee on Cessation of Hostilities (CCCH). After the AFP operations terminated, the MILF forces numbering 500 returned to their bases of operation.
