Page 3 of 4 The WinnersUsing their might, stamina, expertise, and decision making as a team, the gamer participants showed also their expensive gears and equipment that uses 2.2 grams BB (plastic) bullets with a velocity of 450 ft per second speed from the muzzle of their (replicas) battery operated M-16, M-14, MPK’s, AK’s, and other modern firearm look-alike of professional soldiers. After the two-day competition, Airsoft Gamers Tactical Assualt (AGTA) of Ozamis City won the championship with 3315 points, 1st runner–up was Iligan Sprangos Airsoft Players (ISAP) of Iligan City who garnered 2565 points, 2nd runner-up was Composite Airsoft Commandos (COMPAC) of Zamboanga City who got 2,555 points and the 3rd runner-up goes to City of Ozamis Tactical Team Airsoft (COTTA) of Ozamis City who win the game with 2545 points. Sportsman of the Year Judged as the Sportsman of the competition were the Battle Ready Airsoft Tubod Team (BRATT) of Tubod, Lanao del Norte and the Best in Uniform was awarded to Iligan Airsoft Gamers Association (ILAGA) of Iligan City. The competition was scored through a round robin and point system. The scoring were: 200 for Bonus Points, 100 for every flag raised, 10 points for every member who survives (not hit) from an 8 minute game, however they were deducted by 25 points (yellow card) for minor violation and 50 (red card) for major violation. As Marshalls, the Pagadian Airsfot Gamers Infantry or PAGI did not participate, however, they joined their friends-enthusiasts in all the two-day activities changing pleasantries and good camaraderie and friendly relationship. Involved in Community Projects “We thank every team in their participation but, may I especially thank the ISAP team of Iligan City who not only came for the competition but also showed their support in our other community projects, like blood letting, food for the street children, and other community programs of PAGI when they (ISAP) donated their share (door prize) in the amount of Two thousand and twenty five pesos (P2,050) during our fellowship night at Hotel Alindahaw.” Quimbao added.
