The Fraternal Order of Eagles (Philippine Eagles) Pagadian City Eagles Club hosted the 3rd National Assembly attended by different Eagles Club all over the country.
This Year's Theme: Working towards Organizational Excellence National President Eagle Dr Gilbert B. Gille, M.D. opened the regular session with the following agenda: Omnibus Amendments to the Eagles Magna Carta, New ID System Bill and other important matters to be discussed including this years 26th National Congress which will be held in Naga City on November 23-25, 2007, hosted by the Bicol Eagles Club. However, the assembly was declared as no quorum due to the non-arrival of the assemblymen of every region. The 3rd National Assembly took up matters that were also compulsory especially the upliftment of the Fraternal Order of Eagles (Philippine Eagles) encouraged by the National President himself. In his Presidential Report, "Kuya" Gil Gille, ("kuya" as eagles call each other to show brotherhood of true bloodied eagles), reported on the LEADS Seminar conducted in Cagayan de Oro. It was a success as hosted by the Northern Mindanao Region under Governor Eagle Joseph Joel R. Longcob and by the Cagayan de Oro Eagles Club with President Eagle Erlquin C. Lim. Ten-Point Agenda of the National President Kuya Gil Gille also reported on his 10-point agenda, “By way of an advance glimpse to our performance, our Secretary General said that half-way through our administrative term, we are leading the race by close to 70 percent. In other words and conversely, almost 7 out of the 10 agenda have already been achieved.” He said. The National President's agenda are as follows: Administrative harmony, organizational strengthening, Legislative Reforms, Fiscal stability, and transparency, Fraternal Unity, Charitable Works, Socio-Economic Linkages, Information and Education Drive Recognition and Competitive Initiatives and Youth development initiatives. It is the last three that is still on the process of implementation.
The 26th National Congress With the attendance of Kuya Eagle Vicente S. Avila, Regional Governor for Bicol Region in the 3rd National Assembly, the upcoming national congress will push through as scheduled on November 23-25, this Eagle Year 2007 in Naga City. “All preparations by the host region and all clubs in Bicol Region will indicate a lively and memorable National Congress where Eagles from all across the country will converge in a spectacle of camaraderie, fellowship and revelry. Registration has been pegged at 1,500.00 per participant. And for any information regarding the 26th National Congress, all Eagles interested may contact me, at 0915-851-2450 and 0915-851-2451,“ he said. 27 New Eagles inducted As host of this year 3rd National Assembly, the Pagadian City Eagles club also hosted and conducted an ORIENTS Seminar for its 27 new recruits to include Honorable Vice Governor Roseller Ariosa of the province, Provincial Prosecutor Joel Vercide, and other businessmen, professionals, military men, members of the Bureau of Fire Protection and other individuals whose interests are for the Fraternal Order of Eagles (Philippine Eagles), Pagadian City Chapter. “I consider this national assembly as a stepping stone to hold more national Eagles activities, in such away that with our hosting, we also lead in promoting the city’s tourism industry and being the seat of the Regional government of the Zamboanga Peninsula Region, Pagadian City Eagles Club is on the lead.” Kuya Leo Salera said in an interview with News and More. Engr. Leo Salera Officer-in-Charge of the City Eco-Waste Program of Pagadian is the City Chapter President of the Eagles. Meanwhile, Regional Governor Norberto T. “Jun” Bana, Jr. thanked the participation of Ozamis City Eagles Club, Pagadian City Eagles Club, J.A.P.S. (Jimenez, ,Panaon, Sincaban,Mis.Occ) Eagles Club, Dumingag Eagles Club, Oroquieta/Lopez Jaena Eagles Club, Salug Valley Eagles Club, Royal Eagles Club of Tambulig and the Baganian Eagles Club as members of his region, in their attendance to the 3rd National Assembly. Pagadian Eagles Club wishes to thank all donors, supporters, and its members and committees in one way or another who made the hosting of the 3rd National Assembly successful.
