Pagadian City - "The Writ of Amparo is an important legal mechanism that human rights lawyers could effectively use in their work with the hope that it will help stem the wave of extrajudicial killings and enforced disappearances in the country. Two victims from Mindanao have already been surfaced by the military as a result of successful Writ of Amparo petitions.", Atty. Neri Javier Colmenares, Secretary-General of NUPL said in his invitation to two of our lawyers here in Pagadian City.
