With this year's theme "Rotary Shares", the Rotary Club of Pagadian West inducted its new set of officers to lead the club to another mission serving the needy.
Outgoing president Pete Real during the ceremonies managed to share this year's achievement thru a video clip to the members.
"Again on this occasion, may I thank the members from supporting me to have our mission materialized in serving the needy, especially the children of Pagadian thru our efforts and our programs" He said. New Officers of Rotary Club of Pagadian West The new set of Officers were, Virgilio "Daling" T. Ordonez, President (2007-2008), Claudio "Clauds" Orlajesa, Vice President, Edgardo "Ding" Alcachupas, Secretary, Julito "Loloy" Timtim,Treasurer, Baldomero "Baleleng" Fernandez, PRO, Osmundo "Osmun" Sabado, Protocol Officer, Dr. Reynaldo "Rey" Ortiz, Chairman, Council of Past President, Pedro "Pete" Real, Ex-Officio Officer. New Committees Inducted to Rotary Club of Pagadian West New committees were also inducted and presented to the Rotary Club of Pagadian West, Chaired by Jeffrey "Jeff" Almonte, Rotary Club Foundation, Claudio Orlajesa, Club Service Projects, Jose"Butch" Cabato, Club Administration, Jose "Jun" Chiong, Club Membership, Anastacio "Jun" Descallar, Club Public Relations. Meanwhile, with the presence of Congressman-elect Engr. Victor Yu and Governor Auring E. Cerilles, the new officers were energized to promote the 4-way test. Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? And will it be beneficial to all concerned.? The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:The Rotary Club Four Way Test
First, the development of acquaintances as an opportunity for service; Second, high ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society; Third, the application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business and community life: and Fourth, the advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service. {sidebar id=9} During the occasion, two new members were also inducted into membership, Mr. Raffy Rodriguez of Quedancor and former Mayor of Labangan, Uray Mamaludin.
