Miss Pagadian 2008 Candidates pose for www.unsapa.com

12 young, beautiful and talented ladies were formally presented to the media, Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at the Liga City as the official candidates for the search for Miss Pagadian City 2008. The beauty contest will be one of the highlights of the week-long celebrations of the Araw ng Pagadian on June 21, 2008.

Pagadian City Tourism Officer, J. Jewelo Barrios

According to Jewelo Barrios, City Tourism Officer, the lovely ladies were chosen from among 40 applicants who were screened according to their height (at least 5’4”), beauty, poise, figure and wit. All candidates neither have any experience in any contests, which is why, Barrios added, that the 12 will undergo rigorous training and workshops before the pageant. According to Ilang-Ilang Fernandez Co, First Lady of the city and chairperson of the search committee, the main objective of the search, is to promote the tourism potentials and products of the city as all pictorials of the candidates will be done at the fishport, Agora, dried fish area and at the “Bagsakan” in Sta. Lucia.

The presentation of their talent and swimsuit competition is slated on June 16 while the coronation night is on June 19, 2008 both at the city gym.

Miss Pagadian 2005 was present to grace the event.

maayong adlaw sa tanan..aron d magkamali sa spelling or gramar.instead of using english word, bisayaon na lng total we know naman na bisdak atong dialect.

i was so overwhelmed when i saw the unique beauty of my bestfriend. she is a friend who is a very kind, thoughtful and understanding. a person who you can lean on. a person who has a courage to conquer the trials on her life, a peculiar one. even though that i am a resident of ozamiz city im here to flag my comments addressing to all the pagadianons to vote straight the miss candidate no. 5 Dallin Pascual as the Miss Pagadian 2008! thank you for your supports and God bless to each and everyone of us! so once again Thank You and More Power!

It is very tempting not to allow comments that can embarrass www.unsapa.com, but in accordance to fairness and balanced views of which this comment system is hinged on we do allow it.

This is also a lesson for the writer and the editors to be careful in their spelling skills and checking.

So it goes with a lot of people, even those with English as a first language.

Guys, please check your spelling carefully... its shameful especially when people from other cities read it.. it will give pagadian a negative impression.

i believe its Xavier not Sebier University. :cry
