Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur – A certain Educardo Miro Omaña 45 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Sitio Buli, Barangay Calian was stabbed to death by the suspect identified as Pearly Miras Caong, 21 years old married, farner and a resident of Purok Balatong, Barangay Limbatong, Tabina on September 23, 2007 at 4:00pm.
Police investigation disclosed that while the victim Eduardo was inside the videoki bar at same Barangay, he had a misunderstanding with the suspect Pearly and accosted the victim at the back of the establishment and stabbed him twice. The suspect after the incident voluntary surrender to the police authorities and told the police that he lose the hunting knife used in stabbing the victim and he is now detained while waiting formal charges against him.
