Josefina, Zamboanga del Sur – A dead body was found floating at Dimurok River in Barangay Upper Bag-ong Tudela on September 22, 2007 at 8:00 o’clock in the morning.

Police operatives together with the Rural Health unit personnel responded to the crime scene and conducted medical examination found out that the victim sustained multiple stabbed wounds in his body that causes his death.

Police identified the victim as Margarito Violango, married, member of the Citizens Armed Forces Geographical Unit (CAFGU) assigned at Litapan CAFGU Detachment and a resident of Upper Dimurok, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur.

In the initial investigation disclosed on September 21, 2007 at 7:00 o’clock early morning the victim asked permission to his cadre to attend a meeting of his son at Barangay Simata, Molave and failed to returne to his detachment until his cadaver was found floating at the river.

The dead body of the victim was turn-over to the to the CAFGU supervisor for proper disposition, while the case is under investigation and follow-up by the Josefina Municipal Police Authorities.
