Mrs. Helen Ham, the widow of slain police SPO2 Henry Ham is very apprehensive justice may not be served to their family since authorities until now have yet to identify the suspect behind the brutal killing of his husband.

Ham said almost a month had passed after the death of his husband but she never heard even a single word from the PNP as to the development of the case.

Sr. Inspector Oscar Buenaobra, the former chief of police of the Pagadian City PNP assured her a quick justice but until now it remains a promise since no suspect has been sent to jail.

Burenaobra can seldom be seen in Pagadian since he was reassigned as an intelligence officer of the regional office of the PNP based in Zamboanga City.

The PNP Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Director Ochotorena (photo above left) himself also remains silent as if he did nothing to pinpoint the triggerman including who masterminded the gruesome killing.

Helen suspects his husband is a victim of power play orchestrated by some individuals to create a scenario that the Army and the PNP is in a brewing conflict.

“My innocent husband became a sacrificial tool to create a scenario that there is a conflict between the PNP and the army” Ham said as she also refused to point fingers who between the warring groups orchestrated the plan.

Out of mistrust to the local police, Ham is planning to write the secretary of justice and the chief of the PNP to intervene in the case if only to serve due justice to her husband’s death.

”This will be my next move if the Pagadian and Zamboanga del Sur PNP still fails to arrest the culprit”, Ham said in teary eyed when interviewed by dxpr’s Amid  Bangues.

She will seek help from the Departmetn of Justice (DOJ) to send an investigating team in Pagadian City to do a thorough investigation of the case.

“I feel so hopeless and pity to my children who are left fatherless”, she added.

SPO2 Henry Ham was shot dead early dawn at Rizal Avenue, Pagadian City. He was shot by two motorcycle-riding gun men while on his way to duty at the PNP Provincial Command.

justice shall prevail
the police should find out who is the killer...and punish him as well....they should do their task as a police.
