Vicente Calanga, of legal age, was charge with attempted rape and qualified theft under criminal case number 904 and 8204 at about 6:00 o'clock in the morning of August 7, 2007.
The suspect who escaped from the Provincial Jail was arrested while at the vicinity of Sitio Ceduan 3, Barangay Tubod, after being seen by a civilian informant who immediately reported to the police authorities. The suspect was turned-over to the Provincial Jail, Pagadian City where he was detained before his escape.
