The said adventure park is timely for the 55^th founding anniversary of Zamboanga del Sur which is also the host of this years "WOW Philippines Biyahe Na" initiatives of the Department of Tourism to promote the best in every region.

Adventure Park Complete with Canopy Walk 

Eric Bontoyan of Viajero of Cagayan de Oro City whose company has done the preparation of each structure said that the adventure park complete with a  canopy walk was made of wood blocks attached to a cable wire connected to three steel towers  and ends into a staging stage to the  Zip line as an exit . This year's celebration of the said adventure park will certainly add exciting moments for people who wants to explore the extreme of an adventure.

Bontoyan further said that with its structural design, it is exciting to walk along a steel bridge over the trees of Zamboanga del Sur and find your way out thru the longest zipline in the Philippines. With a height of more or less 80 feet above the ground and the steel bridge in three areas crisscrossing, everyone will surely enjoy the adventure.

Meantime, Mrs Marilyn  Bersales, Provincial Agriculturist,  who is in charge of the canopy walk and zipline, said the provincial government will charge 100 pesos per walk after the 12 day regional showcase dubbed as "Dali! Biyahe na sa Zamboanga del Sur", to every individual who wish to experience the adventure.

Longest Zipline 

However, within the regional showcase adventurers will be charged 50 pesos only. Governor Aurora Enerio Cerilles who open the adventure park enjoys her first attempt walking along the canopy and exited thru the zipline. The zipline introduced by Viajero is the longest in its length compared to the Cagayan de Oro City Macahambos Cave Zipline and skywalk with a span of 110 meters and height of 60 meters high. The Zamboanga del Sur canopy walk and Zipline is 154 meters in length and as high as 30 feet compared to Macahambos.
