Pagadian City – Pagadian City Police arrested a person for carrying a firearm near the Petron Gas Station located at Pulmones Street, Santiago District this city. The police responded after a civilian called them by telephone reporting a suspicious looking character with firearm in the vicinity.
The suspected was identified later as Allan Boncawil y Jaime 37 years old, married and a resident of Lacturan, San Pedro District. Police confiscated from Allan's possession one caliber .45 pistol colt Gold Cup with serial numbers 1094135 with 6-live ammunitions in the magazine.
Police filed in court violation of R.A. 8294 or Illegal Possession of Firearm against the suspect while he was detained at the lock-up cell waiting for proper disposition of the case.
