Pagadian City – A certain Apolinario B. Poresima, 39 years old, separated, laborer and a resident of  Barangay Langapod, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur was shot to death by an unidentified assailant at about 11:30 am on September 1, 2007.

Police investigation disclosed that while the victim was sitting on the sidewalk along the junction of Rizal Avenue and Gov. J. Ariosa Street, a man shot the victim without provocation and fled on foot towards the Old Parking Area.

The victim sustained a gunshot wound at the right side of her chest and abdomen and was rushed to the Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Hospital in critical condition and died later.

Police recovered from the crime scene one deformed slug of cal.45 ammunition.
