Pagadian City – One Lito Pinote Canduhaw, 20 years old, single, laborer and a resident of Purok Sili, Danlugan, this city was shot by unidentified gunmen at Purok Luy-a of the said barangay on September 30, 2007 at 11:30 in the evening.
Police reports said that the victim was sitting at the porch of the house owned by Macario Sepada together with his friends known to him as Bando and Rolly also of the same place when he was shot twice by the assailant without any provocation.
The suspect was using an undetermined gauge of shotgun based in the nature of the gunshot wound sustained by the victim on his chest and left arm. Canduhaw was brought immediately by his neighbor to the Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Hospital. The suspect fled towards an unknown direction after the incident.
