Pagadian City – A certain Norman Ayong Muyong legal age and a resident of 411 Lucban Street, Manuel Subdivision, Las Piñas City, Metro Manila, was arrested by the operatives of the 905th Provincial Mobile Group (PMG) while inside the establishment of Ilang-ilang Café at about 10:50pm on September 6, 2007.
Confiscated from the position of Muyong is one Caliber 45 pistol with serial number P109182, three magazines loaded with 34-live ammunition. The suspect presented to the responding policemen an expired firearm license but failed to present a Permit To Carry Firearm Outside Residence or (PTCFOR). The policemen was lead by Police Inspector Homer Dumalag responded immediately after receiving reports from a caller that an unidentified suspicious person believed to be armed was spotted inside the establishment. The suspect was charged of violation of R.A. 8294 or Illegal Possession of Firearms and Ammunitions docketed under inquest case number 160 for I.S. # 0709405.
