Suminot, Zamboanga del Sur – One killed and four others were wounded in a vehicular traffic accident along the provincial road of Barangay Poblacion, Suminot last week at about 1:00pm. The accident happened when two motorcycles, a Honda XRM and an Eagle, collided in the said place. The Honda have two backriders who were also injured with its driver sustaining serious injuries which caused his death later in the hospital.
Police reports disclosed that the two single motorcycles XRM Honda color blue with plate numbers JM 4605, having chasses numbers XRM 11-044-054603 and Engine numbers E-8054603 registered under the name of Rodulfo L. Lao of Barangay Tungawan, Suminot and MC Eagle model color green with plate numbers 71131415 owned and driven by Rex Colegado also of Barangay Tungawan. The driver of the XRM Honda identified as Rene Sala suffered serious injuries and died later at the hospital, his back riders identified as Junry Sagape and Diday Sagape y Maloloy-on and Rex Colegado the driver of the MC Eagle model also sustained injuries at different parts of his body and is now confined at the hospital.
