Pagadian City – A certain Suaid Modapil Maguindra, 35 years old, married and a tricycle driver was found lying on his back onboard his tricycle after he was shot to death by an unidentified assailant along Rizal Avenue near corner Salera Street, Gatas District on November 21, 2007 at 6:20pm
Police investigation disclosed that Suaid, a resident of Barangay Tawagan Norte, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur, was shot several times in close range from behind by his passenger using a caliber 45 pistol based from empty shells recovered in the crime scene. He was driving a tricycle with cab number PAG 1330.
The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds at his head and different parts of his body that caused his death. The suspect after the incident fled towards an unknown direction. The police conducted a hot pursuit operation against the suspect but he is nowhere to be found. The case is under follow-up and investigation.
