successfully conducted a two days Joint Medical and Dental Outreach program sponsored by the Labangan Local Government Unit. The outreach was conducted at Barangay Tapodok recently August 13 and 14, 2007 with positive response from participating individuals and looking forward with a new hope and harmonious partnership towards the government and the people. At least a total of Seven hundred thirty six (736) patients coming from the 4-clustered Barangays of Combo, New Labangan, Old Labangan and Bulanit benefited the two days medical and dental activities, 94-patients for the operation circumcision (tuli), 144-patients for tooth extraction (dental) and 498-patients for consultation.
ZSPPO PRC branch officer Police Inspector Teresita Olita Beboso with the supervision of Provincial Director Police Senior Superintendent Ramon Martinez Ochotorena (DSC) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine Army’s First Infantry Tabak Division base at Camp Cesar Sang-an, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur jointly conducted the medical and dental activities in the implementation of Executive Order No. 546 as part of the Internal Security Operations to win the Heart and Mind and to bring the government closer to the people. The activities started with a simple program with live band from the Tabak Division and followed by individual accomplishment reports from the different chief of offices. The highlight of the program was the short message of Labangan LGU Chief Executive Mayor Hon. Abubakar Afdal Alhadj, Tabak information officer Lt. Col. Roberto Rabasio, PD Ochotorena, and PCR Biboso. Also participated the two days Medical and Dental program are the medical team of the Intergrated Provincial Health Office headed by Dr. Baul, Tabak Medical team headed by Col. Rogelio Domingo, Major Bienvenido Donguines, Dr. Edwin Trabasas, Labangan Municipal Health Office headed by Dra. Mayleen Manupac and PNP Medical and Dental team.
