Tigbao, Zamboanga del Sur – A Rural Transit passenger bus bound for Zamboanga City from Pagadian City sideswiped a single motorcycle along the National Highway of Barangay Maragang at 12:00 noon on September 8, 2007.

The single motorcycle was hit in the rear portion and its driver sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Zamboanga del Sur Provincial hospital in Pagadian City.

The Rural passenger bus with body number 9310 and plate number MVH 656 driven by Arnold Manforth y Panes, married and a resident of Villa Castor, Buug, Zamboanga Sebugay was trying to evade the single motorcycle but instead went out of control and turned-turtle after hitting.

The single Honda XRM 110cc motor color blue was driven by Jhonny Cadiano y Getaruelas, married and a resident of Santiago District, Pagadian City. Police reports reaching to the Police Provincial Office said that some bus passengers who sustained physical and serious injuries were rushed immediately to the Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Hospital and other hospitals in Pagadian City.

The five bus passengers brought to the  Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Hospital are: Nambay Dacula, Anastacio Gayunga, both of Payao, Zamboanga Sibugay; Delimina Ocapisa, Manuela Gaylaran, both of Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay; Alice Libre of Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. All of the mentioned are of legal age.
