The Children’s Forum was a whole day activity tagged as “Sagip Pagmamahal Program” initiated by Mayor Sammy Co in response of this year's program called “Initiative of change” as part of commitment during the 13th Asia-Pacific Youth Conference conducted here last year with the theme "Change Begins With Me: Who I Am Today Will Make A Difference Tomorrow", Mr. Abdulgani J. Pagayao, CSWD Officer told this writer.

Also joining the activity were the KALAMBUAN Youth and staff headed by Ms. Star Arao Parulan who lead the conduct of Group Dynamics of which three topics/subjects were discussed in a workshop, a) Knowing yourself in order to identify the strengths and weaknesses of children, b) What I Want? (for me & family) in order to know the dreams and aspirations of the children, and c) What I Expect? For their parents and family, authorities, officials, leaders, community and friends to give their reactions and comments.

The children received gifts from the city and provincial government like used clothing, slippers, tooth brushes and tooth paste, one bag containing two kilos of rice, four cans of sardines, and noodles.
