Pagadian City – A man suspected high of illegal drugs was arrested by the responding police operatives after his father requested police assistance thru a telephone call at about 10:00am last September 1, 2007.

Police reports said that the suspect was arrested upon request by his father through a telephone call alleging that his is under the influence of illegal drugs. His son accordingly went berserk and threatened to stab him.

Confiscated from the suspect's possession was a bladed weapon. He is now detained temporarily at the Pagadian City Police Station lock-up cell while Inquest Case number 07-07475 is filed in the prosecutors office.

The elements of the 905th Provincial Mobile Group lead by SP01 Carlos Omentic identified the suspect as Antonio Bersales y Manuel 32 years old and a resident of Purok Kurbada, Barangay Da-o.
