Pagadian City – A 36 years old Rosa Banan Canillo, married and a resident of Purok Esmeralda Bravo, San Jose District was stabbed by two unidentified suspects inside her residence and carted her money on September 7, 2007 at 2:00pm.

Police reports said that two young men wearing black shirts were having a drinking spree at the sarisari store in the residence of the victim.

These young men stabbed her and took an undetermined amount of money from her sales box and fled towards an alley leading to Manga Videoke Bar also of the said place.The suspects were able to escape and boarded a passenger motor cab when they reached the corner of F.S. Pajares Avenue and Mercedez Street.

The victim sustained a single stab wound at her chest. She was brought immediately by her neighbors to the Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Hospital but was already dead on arrival as pronounced by the attending physician.

The case now is under follow-up and investigation by the Pagadian City Police.
