Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur – Marina Avenido, 30 years old, survived a shooting incident while she was inside her house in Purok 1, Barangay Tiniguangan. She was brought to the hospital at Pagadian City at about 4:20 dawn of August 6, 2007.
The police report said that while the victim was washing at their kitchen, the suspect who was outside her house at the time, asked the victim for a glass of drinking water. While on the act of giving the water, the suspect fired at her twice with his handgun hitting the victim at her left thigh and leg. The handgun is of yet an unknown caliber.
The suspect fled but was identified by the victim as Jason Enot, 20 years old and a resident of Purok-3, of the same barangay.The motive of the crime is still unknown as of press time.
The police are now conducting a manhunt against the suspect and appropriate charges are filed against him.
