The Zamboanga del Sur Police Provincial Office, Camp Abelon successfully celebrated the annual fiesta of their Patron St. Ignatius de Loyola Last August 8, 2007.

All PNP personnel and NUP of Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Command headed by P/SSupt. Ramon Martinez Ochotorena together with the 905^th Provincial Mobile Group led by P/SInpt. Oscar Tan Buenaobra attended the Mass that started 9:00 o’clock in the morning.

Fr. Dodong Jomao-as, San Pedro Parish Priest Officiated the Mass Celebration conducted at the Chapel inside the Camp Abelon Compound.

After the Mass, the short program was followed for the blessing of the newly renovated 905^th PMG Headquarters located inside Camp Abelon compound, a series of parlor games was given to the children from the ZSPPO Daycare Center and other neighboring nursery and kindergarten schools.

The participation of the PNP in the Fiesta celebration is to enhance community awareness and appreciation on church based activities to commemorate the patron of Saints.

Meanwhile, Last month, the PNP Zamboanga del Sur Police Office caters to the hildren with their food feeding project to hrlp and support the children of Zamboanga del Sur for good nutrition.

At least 20 children from PNP Daycare Center benefited the nutritious food during the conduct of feeding inside Camp Abelon Compound in connection with the Nutrition Month Celebration last July 27, 2007. 

PNP-WCCD PNCO headed by PCR Officer P/Insp.Teresita Olita Biboso together with PO1 Lerma Cañete under the supervision of PD P/SSupt. Ramon M. Ochotorena distributed the foods as part of Police community involvement and partnership in the said activities.
