Pagadian City
– At about 6:00 a.m. of July 17, 2007, a 15 years old girl Neneng not her real
name, a high school student of the Zamboanga del Sur National High School
(ZSNHS reported to the City Police Office that she was allegedly raped by her
uncle and cousin inside their house at Barangay Santiago.
The victim in her report said that while
sleeping inside her room of June 20, 2007 the two suspects raped her.
Recently at about 3:00 o’clock dawn
of July 17, 2007 her uncle attempted to rape her but she was able to evade and
reported the incident to the police.
The suspects are her uncle identified as
Lito Pejano, 24 years old, married and working as a shrimp sizer and the
cousin identified as Edward John Pejano.
The case now is under investigation
by the Women and Children Desk.
