THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT of Molave in cooperation with the Salug Valley Eagles Club provided free circumcision dubbed “operation tuli” to 586 boys in 3 days.
This was gathered over the weekend from Molave Mayor Flavio Saniel, Jr. who said that giving out free circumcision to young boys has been one of his administration’s annual activity which is done every summer vacation. “For this year, it was held at Molave ABC Hall from May 13-15 and we expected some 250 beneficiaries only but the turn out was more than double,” he pointed out. The operation “tuli” implemented by Municipal Health Officer Prisco Pabatao, Jr. with the assistance of Mayor Saniel’s sons – former SB member Cyril and current SB member Earl, with municipal health nurse Leonilyn Aleman and midwives Esther Magallanes and Linda Yunting. According to Saniel, this project has been a great help to parents since engaging the services of a private doctor to perform the circumcision would cost them P700 more or less. For the 3-day charitable activity, Molave spent P90,000 while the Salug Valley Eagles of the Fraternal Order of Philippine Eagles led by its President Nonie Felecio, acted as secretariat, the source said.
