They are called Ex-Officio Board Members, namely: Allan R. Godoy, as Liga Federated President carrying the voice of 679 barangays of the province and Jay Emmanuel Locson as SK Federated President representing the youth of the province.
Godoy, 40, was former 3-termer Sangguniang Bayan Member of Aurora town and served as Cassava Livelihood Coordinator for the provincial government before seeking the barangay chairman’s seat at Poblacion Aurora.
Running unopposed as President for the Liga ng mga Barangay of Zamboanga del Sur, Godoy replaced Ex-Officio Board Member Leonilyn C. Balaod from Tambulig town who completely served her three year-term.
In time of his first attendance to the SP regular session last January 3 was the Legislative New Year’s Party. Vice Governor Roseller “Roy” L. Ariosa led in welcoming Godoy as official Ex-Officio member of the 6th Provincial Board. It was Locson’s second attendance to the SP’s regular session.
The roster of the 6th Provincial Board for the year 2008-2010, include: Vice Governor Roseller L. Ariosa, Presiding Officer; Board Members Juan C. Regala, Chairman-Pro-Tempore; Baldomero Fernandez, Floor Leader; Flaviano R. Fucoy, Jr., Assistant Floor Leader; with members: Rogelio J. Saniel; Ramon O. Blancia; Ernesto A. Mondarte; Basilio A. Vidad; Felicidad B. Funtanilla; Eriberto A. Sumalinog; and Miguelito T. Ocapan.
While the Ex-Officio Board Members are: Maychel Velayo-Rota – Sangguniang Bayan Member of Tukuran municipality who is the President for the Philippine Councilor’s League; Allan R. Godoy for the Liga ng mga Barangay and Jay Emmanuel Locson as SK Federated President.
The Provincial Secretary is Wilfredo Cimafranca.
