A LADY shabu dealer was arrested in a joint operation conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) led by Police Chief Inspector Maldan Mukaram and the Pagadian City PNP under Police Chief Inspector Reynaldo Maclang last April 6 at around 6:00 p.m. along the vicinity of Peoples Plaza, Pagadian City.

Halina Liwas aka “Mang”, a resident of Barangay Bulanit, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur was caught in the act selling shabu to an undercover agent sent by the operating team and who acted as a buyer.

Recovered from her possession was a sachet of shabu and the marked money used in the operation.

As of press time, Halina is temporarily detained at the Pagadian City lock up cell for proper disposition while awaiting proper charges to be filed in court in violation of Republic Act 9165 known as the Dangerous Drug Act of 2002. (Read more from Pagadian Express)
