The PNP, in line with its mandate as a principal law enforcement agency of the government shall extend support and assistance to the AKF through the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) in the implementation of RA 8485 and RA 9482.

With this instruction, Zamboanga del Sur now will be free from any problem in relation with the said animal act.

It may be recalled that there are still municipalities trying to evade legal sanction in horse fights during fiestas and holidays.
