Pagadian City
– Inday, (name and address withheld to protect her identity), 19 years old, reported to the Pagadian City Police Office
immediately after she was able to evade her uncle who attempted to rape her.
Inday, who is a resident of Barangay Dao
and a student of Zamboanga del Sur National High School said that at about 7:30
in the evening of July 17, 2007, while in the vicinity of the Rotunda, Barangay San Jose, this city, was suddenly dragged by her uncle at the grassy vacant lot near the Integrated
Bus Terminal (IBT, Barangay Dao, but was able to escape and run away
leaving behind her uncle.
The suspect was identified by Inday as Richard
Carbajosa, a resident of Oroquieta
City. The case now is under
follow-up and investigation by the women and children desk.
