A young student of the coastal town of Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur has set an example of what public service is all about when he issued a sworn statement of commitment.

Judinis Sarcos, (see photo) 17 years old, who ran unopposed in the coming SK elections had his commitment ratified by the Provincial Prosecutor, stipulating among others that out of his monthly honorarium of P4,300.00, he will receive only P1,000.00 and appropriated the balance for his SK Kagawads who are not entitled to honorarium expenses for its monthly meetings and for the STUDY NOW, PAY LATER program for the youth with technical skills whom he wanted to undergo training at TESDA.

The SK Chairman of Barangay San Carlos, Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur has chosen a partner in his educational program for the youth in the person of Barangay Kagawad Candidate, Maning Tria who pledged to avail a counterpart of the amount allotted for the STUDY NOW, PAY LATER program.

Sarcos is the first young elected official who has shown elder politicians in his town and elsewhere in the country on how to reciprocate public trust. – Southern Philippines News Agency.
