Many, if not majority, of believers do not seem to understand and comprehend the purpose and mission of Jesus Christ. Because of false teachings propagated by Pseudo-Christian churches, and sectarian organizations, these many have today remain skeptical about the need to spend this life as a training ground for becoming citizens in the Kingdom of God or for Godhood. In fact, Godhood to them is taboo.

Let us never forget not to miss the fact that Jesus Christ was in the beginning with the Almighty Father (the one and only true God), and that Christ was God who attributes His being and power to the Father. Yet, Christ was the one entrusted to carry out the father’s plan of salvation, in order that all spirit children can obtain bodies of flest and bone and be given the opportunity to become gods through the principle of free agency. This work of Jesus Christ is eternally opposed by Lucifer (who became Satan), who wanted to carry out the Father’s plan of salvation by compulsion but was rejected, prompting his rebel.

Lucifer was joined by one third of the host of heaven which followed him.

Come to think of that? Christ allowed himself to be born as a human being, and of all places, in a manger inside a barn surrounded by sheep and cattle, to a carpenter’s wife. He could have chosen to become a son of a king from whose throne He will launch His mission and carry out the Father’s plan. But Christ chose to be humble. And He demonstrated it.

He chose to be born among the poor, because it is the poor, not the rich, who are capable of being humble. He lived a humble, persecuted and short life. But he accomplished His mission – that of bringing to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. Immortality, by providing that there is life after death through His resurrection. Eternal Life, by virtue of His teachings, foremost of which is the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would that others do unto you.”

Why humility? Because that is the most important virtue one that would deserve godly power, dominion and increase must primarily possess. Because out of humility flows natural and affectionate love. Because of humility one would not want to defraud, harm or injure his fellowman.

Read the Holy Scriptures and you will find that Christ, when meeting His disciples and talking to His apostles often greets: “Peace be unto you!” This is because the end-result of humility, love and charity is PEACE. If people, from every nook and corner of the Earth, learn from and emulate Christ’s humility. Peace (the most elusive and rare commodity nowadays) will certainly follow. With peace reigning all over the Earth, human beings will be to conquer the universe.
