He is a commerce graduate of the University of the Visayas then took his masters in public administration at Southern Mindanao College (SMC).
He is a member of the Philippine Guardians Brotherhood Pagadian-ZamboSur Chapter. He is married to Angelina Berwin (3rd from left) and has four children, Kenneth 30 years old (in americana) is a Civil Engineer, Keith Llyod years old (2nd from left and in barong tagalog), Kim Ryan 25 years old (in barong, 2nd from right) is also a Civil Engineer working in Quezon City and Kristel Dawn 18 years old ( right photo) is a nursing student in Liceo de Cagayan.
