Commanding General, 1st Infantry (Tabak) Division, AFP  MGen. Pajarito on the move Major General Nehemias G. Pajarito, 0-7281, AFP is the current commanding General of the Army's premier division, the 1st Infantry (Tabak) Division based in Camp Cesar L. Sang-an, Pulacan, Labangan, and Zamboanga Del Sur.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in the prestigious Philippine Military Academy and was commissioned as 2nd Lieutenant in the Philippine Army on February 17, 1976. He also finished his Basic Airborne Course and Scout Ranger Orientation Course, Naval Intelligence Basic Course and the PA Officer Senior Course. He studied Civil Affairs Officer Course in JFKSWCS, Fort Bragg, NC, USA and finished the Instructor Training course in the US Army Signal Center. In 1992, in the Pre-Command Course for Battalion Commanders at Combat Arms School, in a class of 38 he ranked number 18 with an average rating of 92.31 percent while in his Command and General Course to become a general of the army, out of 45 classmates he landed number 20 with a rating of 88.54 percent. Early in his career as an officer and a gentleman, Major General Pajarito served as platoon leader of D Co, 24IB, PA and HHSVCO, 24IB, PA and became a company commander of C Co, 24IB, PA his first stint in the Mindanao campaign. He also served in the Army Aviation Battalion (AABn) in the NCR Region, and ultimately become the AABn Operations Officer.  MGen. Pajarito meeting with civilians in his AOR Before making it to the higher echelon of the Philippine Army, Major General Pajarito had served also in the prestigious military school of our country, the Philippine Military Academy as Commandant CCAFP, HTG, and PMA. More in the Mindanao campaign, Major General Pajarito who was born in Culasian, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Del Sur, became the Deputy Commander of Task Force (TF) "Diamond", 4ID, PA before becoming the Chief of Staff of the 1st Infantry Division where he is now the Commanding General. Major General Pajarito also received distinguished medals, awards, and commendation to mention a few of his valuable leadership and service not only to his military career but also to his family and loved ones. Major General Pajarito was awarded the Combat Commander "K" Medal, the Mindanao-Sulu Campaign Medal, the Anti-Dissident Campaign Medal and Ribbon, The Military Meritorious Medal (MMM), the Distinguished Service Star Medal, and the Gold Cross Medal. As a family man, Major General Pajarito is living with his wife Armi who bore him, fours sons and four daughters, namely: Julius Erikson, Paul Jericho, Jacob and Anthony Joshua, while her daughters are: Abigail Joy, Theresa Diane, Eliza Mae and Alpha Sophia. Now as the Commanding General of the 1st Infantry (Tabak) Division, Major General Nehemias G. Pajarito continues to serve with distinction and dedication.
