Cartographic sketch of suspect in the killing of BIR employee Molina
Pagadian City – The City Police of Pagadian intensifies the investigation on the murder of a BIR employee by releasing the cartographic sketch (click photo to see full picture) of the suspect for the  awareness of the public while they rev up its manhunt operations.

According to Chief of Police Reynaldo Maclang, the corroborating statements of two eyewitnesses lead to the identity of the suspect who is between 25-30 years old, 5’5” in height and with brown complexion. The recovery of the victim’s cellphone likewise confirmed that the victim have been receiving death threats based on the text messages she received. While the investigation may focus on the angle that it may be job-related, other angles can not be discounted too, COP Maclang told www.unsapa.com.

It can recalled, that in the early morning of May 9, 2008, Lolita Duyogan Molina, aka Litang, 54 years old, married, a resident of Purok Nangka, Tuburan District, and an employee of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Pagadian Office, was shot to death by a lone gunman while on board a tricycle to report for work.

investigation revealed that the tricycle she was riding on her way to office was flagged down in the vicinity of the Pagadian College of Criminology and Sciences (PCCS), Tuburan District along the National Highway, by a lone passenger who rode at the backseat of the driver. Upon reaching SMC Main Campus along Sabellano Street, the said passenger/gunman disembarked and suddenly shot Molina in the back of her head using a caliber .45 pistol based on the empty shell recovered from the crime scene.

The victim sustained one gunshot wound at the back of her head and was brought immediately to the Pagadian City Medical Center but was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician. According to witnesses, immediately after the shooting the suspect boarded a get-away single motorcycle XRM color black with undetermined plate number and fled towards downtown.

It was learned from a reliable source that prior to her death, the victim has shown a picture of a certain person to her friends and added that the same person should be held responsible should anything bad will happen to her.
